TYPE DESIGN
OBJECTIVE | Design an illustration and article title to complement a provided article about millennial targeted cruises.
ROLE | As the designer and illustrator, I was responsible for creating a cohesive and captivating illustration and title.
APPROACH | After studying the publications aesthetic and typical layouts, I brainstormed a complementary design. Since the publication is rather simple in design, I kept the design simple using graphic shapes and a limited color palette. Keeping the target audience of millenials in mind, I made sure the design and text were playful and modern.
CONCLUSION | In conclusion, the image and type design stay true to the publication and provide a playful narrative. They are complementary in style and capture the viewer's eye quickly.
