OBJECTIVE | Design an animated email invitation, print invitation and complementary envelope for the cosmetic brand, Tarte Cosmetics. The invitation is for Tarte's annual influencer MUA all-inclusive getaway trip.
ROLE | As designer, illustrator and animator, I was responsible for creating and designing all elements for this project. A mini brand identity was originally created to help guide the design elements — including type design, color palette, and repeat patterns.
APPROACH | After studying Tarte's brand guidelines and aesthetic, I decided to stay true to their trendy, colorful and tropical feel. Keeping destination in mind, I chose imagery, a color palette and type that complemented.
CONCLUSION | In the end, both the digital and print invitations did their job of representing a fun, tropical getaway. The final designs were captivating, cohesive and true to Tarte's brand.
