OBJECTIVE | Design two editorial spreads about indoor plants for a women's lifestyle magazine.
ROLE | As the designer and illustrator, I was given the responsibility of creating a two cohesive spreads of spot illustrations, title design, type design and other design elements.
APPROACH | After studying the brand guidelines of the magazine, I decided to stay true to its trendy, colorful and playful aesthetic. I created two editorial spreads full of playful illustrations and text that mirrored the publication's vibe. Given the text, I was responsible for its layout and cohesion with complementary spot illustrations.
CONCLUSION | In conclusion, the indoor house plants editorial spreads were designed with the magazine’s audience in mind. The resulting designs were visually attractive, informative, and met the brief’s objectives while staying true to the publication's brand identity.
